Before/after comparison of Ärlen glacier (Bernese Alps)

The Ärlen glacier lies on the east side of the connecting ridge between Steinlouwihorns (3161m) and the Ritzlihorn (3277m, now called Ritzlihoren). To the north it is bordered by the Ärlengrätli. The Ärlengletscher is a small kar glacier, which broke up into a southern and a northern part a few years ago.
