This interactive 360° drone panorama photo shows the glacier tongue (= the end of the glacier) of the Gries glacier in its entire width. The ice in front of the glacier end is covered with a lot of dirt. Approximately in the centre of the picture, several sand cones can be seen at the end of the glacier. An elongated proglacial lake has formed on the right.
