Description:The interactive panorama photo shows the Mutt glacier (Muttgletscher), incl. small lake in front of the glacier, the Gross Muttenhorn and in the distance the Rhone glacier (Rhonegletscher).
From the western foothills of the Gross Muttenhorn, a lot of debris fell onto the Muttgletscher (=supraglacial Debris influx). This process is likely to continue in the coming years.
This panorama photo also shows the depression (approx. in the middle of the glacier).
The glacier ice has interestingly formed "annual rings".
