This panorama photo shows the Allalin glacier from the east. Beside the impressive ice stream you can also see the glacier tongue and the impressive outflow. The glacier tongue reaches to an edge from which the terrain slopes steeply to the east. Out of the valley there are two lateral moraines and towards Italy the Mattmark lake can be seen in its full length.
