Mass balance Schwarzberg glacier 2010 - 2025
The graph below shows the mass balance of Schwarzberg glacier for the period from 2010 to and including 2025. We have been documenting Schwarzberg glacier photographically since 2010.
In 2013, the Schwarzberg Glacier increased slightly in mass. In all other years from 2010 to and including 2025, it lost mass. In 2025, the Schwarzberg glacier - like all glaciers in the Swiss Alps - lost a large amount of mass.
