This spherical panorama photo shows the still impressive ice stream of the Allalin glacier and its surroundings. The Saas Valley Glacier Trail crosses the glacier in a shallow, almost crevice-free area. The panorama photo shows the Mattmark reservoir (incl. natural dam), other glaciers (including Hohlaub glacier and Schwarzberg glacier) and several 4000m peaks (including Strahlhorn, Rimpfischhorn, Allalinhorn, Täschhorn, Dom, Lagginhorn, Weissmies).
