08.08.2022: Observations of the Doldenhorn glacier and the Spitz Stei landslide area
On 8.8.2022 we made the following observations from the Doldenhorn glacier and the Spitze Stei landslide area, among others:
Doldenhorn glacier

The Schrund has considerable dimensions. The summit of the Kleindoldenhorn (3474m) can be seen on the right of the picture.

Around noon, two rockfalls came loose in the same sector. Photo from 8.8.2022.
Due to the dry weather, a lot of dust was stirred up by the rockfall.
